As a young woman, I am fascinated by the posturing of young men. They tend to put up fronts to the world that may not be the most accurate reflection of what lies beneath. By having my male subjects remove their shirts, I found there was a metaphysical removal of those fronts, revealing a more honest portrait of the man beneath.
